If you could pass on words of wisdom to someone in the beginning stages of their career, what would you share with them?

Don’t be afraid of rejection. When someone first tells you no, you’re in the same place you were before you asked.

How do you balance your personal life and work life?

Focus on family in the morning until work starts, and then turn it off at 6, until the family goes to bed. If I need to finish something before the morning, I’ll finish it once the kids are down. And I try and take a couple small vacations each year.
